The District Theatre

The District Theatre bridges the gap between audiences and artists and builds a stronger arts community. In partnership with Central Indiana Community Foundation (CICF) and Indianapolis Theatre Fringe Festival (IndyFringe), we are committed to preserving the facilities and cultural heritage of the Massachusetts Avenue venue, as well as striving to provide the best venue for live performances in the Mass Ave Cultural District. Please sign up for our newsletter to stay up to date on our performances, fundraising efforts and events.

Roll out the red carpet!

The Central Indiana Community Foundation (CICF) in partnership with IndyFringe, local donors and businesses proud opened The District Theatre in July 2018. Located in the same facility as the much-loved Theater On the Square or TOTS, we plan to continue the cultural legacy that has served so many Indianapolis residents.

Please feel free to drop us a line if you’re interested in renting one of our two stages.
